An internationally known author and speaker, Mike Amundsen travels the world consulting and talking about network architecture, web development, and the intersection of technology and society. He works with companies large and small to help them capitalize on the opportunities, APIs and microservices present for both consumers and the enterprise.
Mike is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, and has written numerous books on web architecture and API design. In addition to his writing and speaking, Mike is an active member of the technology community, and has served on the board of the OpenAPI Initiative and the API Academy. He is also a former Principal API Architect at CA Technologies, where he helped to develop and promote the company's API strategy. Mike is a specialist in API design and development, and has played an integral role in shaping the modern web API landscape.
